While Bala comes from a family where his father is a police officer and constantly ridicules him for his playfulness, Pachai suffers a deep inferiority complex because of his financial status. Yet, he studies really well and carries his parent's wishes to become a breadwinner of the family.The roles of Vineeth and Krish too are really well-crafted and are extremely popular among the girls.

Both of them play the role of rich kids effectively. The two face several personal problems but while Vineeth helps himself get over it, Krish at one point succumbs to drugs.Another specimen of this group is Unni who most of the time is busy flirting and sending letters to girls. Rishi is extremely techno-savvy but doesn't put his ideas to proper use.' Personally, I like the show a lot because I'm just out of school and I feel I can relate to the characters a lot better.
