Before that I was using Hidden Cleaner, a tiny program from 2010 that had one simple task that worked 100% of the time - clean a USB of hidden junk, but that no longer works under Mojave. So I've come to use CMD2 today after the new update and despite it saying that there was junk on my USB (there were. files on there) and that it had been successfully cleaned after I hit the clean button I went back to DC and that showed that it had not removed any of the. hidden files.

So I used DC to clear them instead. And to prove that CMD2 had not worked before using DC I put the USB in the car player and, yes, the hidden unplayable files were present. So CMD2 is still not doing the one task it is designed to do.
